Brief summary: This fairly short book takes a look at a handful of influential men, and the godly mothers who raised them. Some of the men are famous and well-known, and others not as much. Regardless, each story points to a faithful mother who intentionally invested into her son, and it made all the difference. 

What I liked about it: As you probably know, I don’t have any sons, yet I thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from this book. I especially appreciated the diversity of the stories shared. Each mom had a unique situation, and yet the point was the same: the spiritual investment a mother makes matters greatly.

I left this book encouraged to keep investing, and to do it as soon as possible, and as intentionally as possible. 

I think every mom who still has kids in her home will be encouraged and challenged by this book! 

(Side note: I listened to this book on audible — and it was an easy enjoyable listen.)
